Yes it has been a while since my last post, life getting in the way busy time of year for everyone but getting back on track. As I have said before it is surprising how much time it takes to maintain a blog its more than you would think so I have more respect for bloggers than I did before having now gone through the process, as well as that putting out weekly podcasts it has added to the process. But thats not a complaint its just something learned along the way. As for the podcasts I would like to keep doing them as much as possible but promising them weekly is alot to achieve along with the blog and work, however I still intend puting them out as often as I can. I would like them to be more broad but still include music and hopefully talk about other subjects as well and even guests from time to time. A big part of it I would like is for you to get involved and tell us about your life where you live and a bit about yourself and your interests. If you are interested in doing that you can contact me through the contact envelope on the left hand side of this page. I do love posting and really do enjoy hearing from other people and learning about there life it’s what keeps me motivated.
Although I still am a massive fan of music especially bands that are in control of their own rights the process involved to podcast their music takes allot of work. The process involves searching for music from these bands emailing them asking permission to play their music waiting for approval and doing some research on the band, I think I reached burn out with it all, but thats not stopping me I just need to adapt things to suit so I can continue posting and podcasting regulary again.
So here in Scotland the clocks went back an hour so it is lighter in the morning but darker earlier at night. This is the time of year where we all wish we could hibernate until spring. It now gets dark around 5pm and will continue to get darker earlier as we go further into winter. Just now the golden leaves are falling off the trees and making the paths and areas under the trees vibrant and pleasing to the eye. It will start to get colder and colder, however their is something good about taking a walk in the early evening cold while wrapped up. to be honest I don’t mind the freezing cold I just hate the rain but, if it wasnt for the rain our country would not be so beautiful. I just wish there was a better balance because sometimes the rain feels constant. We have been lucky so far plenty of bright days so far unlike last year where it seemed to rain from August until February. So here’s hoping for a good kind winter where we can all get happily on with what we need to do with no disruption, yes I know but you have to be optimistic right!
